“I love so many things about Amber! She always has really good treats – my Mom says that’s because Amber is always working with me to help me have more manners, even when I don’t know that it’s “work”. Amber stays with me when my Mom and Dad are out of town and it makes me feel comfortable and not worried about them being gone. She sticks to my regular routines and gives me lots and lots of love. And, I guess my Mom would say she works with me on training and manners then, too! I get to see Amber and her dog Prudence at play dates at the dog park which has made me really friendly and able to get along with other dogs. Amber is always talking to my Mom about doggy parenting tips – sometimes I wish they would stop talking and pay more attention to me. When I think that too much, I forget my manners and come and jump on Amber – sometimes all the way up to her face. Amber is always really patient with me and helps me to remember that it’s rude when I do that. My mom & I think Amber is wonderful and are so thankful to have her guidance and wisdom as part of my upbringing!” – Jersey, 11 Months

We have been working with Amber for 2 years and can’t express enough how happy we are!
Amber walks our dogs at least 3 times per week, stays with our pups while we are out of town and helps us resolve any behavioral issues we may be experiencing through positive reinforcement training methods. Her training plans are clear, easy to follow and very effective. Additionally, Amber has very well developed communication skills whereby she actively listens and offers solutions without making one feel embarrassed, at fault or stressed out. It is easy to have ongoing and robust dialogue on, sometimes, challenging topics.
Amber is exceptionally reliable and trustworthy.
She holds a key to our home as she comes and goes to walk our dogs several times a week.
My dogs absolutely lose their minds when Amber comes for them (we are occasionally home when she comes to pick them up for a walk) as they love her. They even know her name. While some trainers would try to calm the dogs down by asking for a sit, turning their backs or simply walking away (all of which is ineffective with my dogs), Amber simply puts their collars on to calm them right down. While this may not be the obvious solution to many, Amber is super creative in assessing what your dog may perceive as a reward. I think these little things are very telling of her talent and ongoing education in the field of canine leadership.
Thank you for taking such great care of us, Amber! We appreciate you.-Dee, Tugboat, and Ellamae

We would like to say how wonderful Amber is with our crazy pups. We have two rescue dogs. One is a shy 2 1/2 year old pit mix who is afraid of everything and will show his fear in what appears to be aggressive ways. And our second dog is a doberman mix puppy who loves every dog and almost every person and will try and jump to kiss
your face whether you want her to or not.
We have taken a few classes with Amber as well as had some great one on one training at parks. She is so patient and has great suggestions on ways to work around our shy dog’s issues. You can tell she genuinely loves the animals she works with and cares for their health and well being.
Amber has stayed at our house to watch our dogs while we were out on vacation. It was such a relief knowing she was the one to watch over them that I never worried while I was gone. I came home to find happy peaceful dogs.
I would most certainly recommend Amber for anyone interested in taking classes from her, or having her watch your pups while away. I trust her with my four legged babies as well as my home.
Thank you Amber for all your hard work!
